WELLINGTON COMMUNITY PARK

30 Acres

This large and first community park for Wellington is located at Washington Avenue and Buffalo Creek Parkway. The park consists of a walking trail, batting cages, two softball fields with a concession area, a dog park, two age-appropriate playgrounds, splash pad, multi-use field, irrigated open turf area, shade structure, tennis courts and two parking lots. This park was named in 2014 through a town contest.

KNOLLS LINEAR PARK

17.5 Acres

This park consists of the first 9 holes for the west side disc golf course named Dangerous Don’s (maps and scorecards available on the Towns website www.townofwellington.com), a walking trail, natural vegetation area, irrigated turf, parking lot and bike rack.

WELLVILLE PARK

10.4 Acres

Located near Wellington Village Condos and the corner of George W. Bush Avenue and the east frontage road. This park consists of a loop walk, Kyle Griffith’s Eastside disc golf course which is the final 9 holes (maps and scorecards available on the Towns website www.townofwellington.com), two ponds, natural vegetation area, picnic tables and plenty of parking. VIEWPOINTE PARK

8 Acres

This park nestled in the Viewpointe subdivision at the end of Ronald Reagan Court and Kit Fox Drive was built in 2002. It consists of two basketball courts, a playground, two multi-purpose fields, picnic tables with shade structure, and a parking lot. The Towns Recreation Department has soccer and flag football played at this location.

LIBRARY PARK

7.85 Acres

Located south of Washington Avenue between 3rd and 5th Street, Library Park consists of two softball fields, a gazebo, and an irrigated turf area. It is adjacent to the Recreation Department offices and the Town’s Library, Senior Center and Community Room.

MEADOWS OPEN SPACE

5.3 Acres

Located near The Meadows subdivision on the northeast corner of George W. Bush Avenue and McClellan Road. Consists of natural vegetation area with open water.

PARK MEADOWS PARK

4 Acres

Opened in 2006, this park is located in the Park Meadows subdivision east of I-25 on the northwest corner of Ronald Reagan Avenue and McClellan Road. The park consists of a playground area, picnic tables, irrigated turf, open space and a parking lot with plenty of street parking also available.

CENTENNIAL PARK

1.75 Acres

This is Wellington’s oldest park and was renamed to Centennial Park in 2005 when Wellington had its Centennial celebration. It is located north of Cleveland Avenue between 3rd and 4th Street near the historic downtown Wellington and consists of a large irrigated turf area, a large shade structure, picnic tables, benches, two sets of playground equipment for different age groups, a small stage, fenced basketball court and fenced skate park. Centennial Park is also home to the Wellington Boys & Girls Club of Larimer County. Movies in the Park and the Wellington Farmers Market are held here.

WINICK PARK

1.5 Acres

Built in 2015, this pirate ship themed park is located at the northeast corner of Coralbell Court and Wine Cup Street. It consists of a playground, benches, picnic table with shade structure, bike rack, irrigated turf area and a parking lot.
