We have a wealth of Volunteers in the Wellington Area Chamber of Commerce various committees:
Membership Committee: “The Membership Committee focuses on recruiting and retaining members, ensuring member programs are aligned with membership needs, communications and general issues impacting the membership. The committee also reviews pending member applicants and resolves membership questions.”
Business Before & After Hours and Ribbon Cutting Ceremonies: Each of these committees works hard to ensure the Wellington Area Chamber of Commerce members are united and highlighted in the community.
Business Development Committee: The Business Development Committee focuses on providing education and value for our current members. We help your company thrive by providing education on a variety of business topics, expanding your customer base and teaching your employees customer-centric skills.
Community Events Committee: The goals of the Community Development Committee is to prepare, implement and monitor the community elements of local economic and community plans. It considers the economic elements of the plan in order to enhance co-ordination with the community elements and ultimately integrate the two elements. It has a general role in seeking to ensure effectiveness, consistency, co-ordination and avoidance of duplication between the various elements of local authority activities in the community.
