Nikki Caesar graduated in 2004 from West Chester University with a bachelor’s degree in
Business Management. Following graduation, she worked in the financial industry as a
portfolio manager for Bank of America, managing a portfolio of high net worth individuals.

After spending four years working in the banking industry, Nikki decided to follow her passion
and pursue a career in the pharmaceutical industry, where she has worked for more than 13
years. Currently, Nikki manages a sales team for a renowned skincare brand. As an
accomplished sales manager, Nikki has several years of experience building profitability and
market share. Her specific areas of expertise include product launches, strategic planning, and
leadership development.

In her personal life, Nikki has a true affinity for volunteering and philanthropy. Provided with
the opportunity to be a part of the solution, she actively supports educational programs
dedicated to supporting marginalized people of color. She has participated in after school
homework programs with NY Cares, read to ESL students through Reading to Kids, and taught
public speaking skills to previously incarcerated youth with the Coalition for Engaged
Education. Additionally, she has held various leadership roles with The National Urban League,
where she served as a Fund Development Chair and the Bergen County chapter President.

Troy Hammam grew up in Wellington and has lived here for 40 years on a little ranch outside of town. He went to military college in Vermont, came back to work for the family business which does commercial painting and wall coverings. Troy has two kids that are in college back east. He was elected the town mayor in 2018, which has been very rewarding as well as challenging.

Prior to being elected in 2010, Justin served in a command level role with the office for over a decade. Sheriff Smith earned both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in criminal justice and is a graduate of the FBI National Academy, the National Sheriffs Institute, and the FBI Law Enforcement Executive Development Seminar. Justin is also a former adjunct professor in criminal justice at Colorado State University.

This year we’re doing something different and partnering with the International Chili Society (ICS), Americana Legacy Foundation, and Boys and Girls Club Wellington for a community chili cook-off. Cooks both young and old will have an opportunity to compete for a spot at the ICS World Championship Chili Cook-off!

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Boys and Girls Club-Wellington and Wellington Firefighters Fund.

The Wellington Winter Wonderland Chili Cook-off will be on Saturday, December 7, from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. (public tasting hours are 12:30 – 5 p.m.).
