This year we’re doing something different and partnering with the International Chili Society (ICS), Americana Legacy Foundation, and Boys and Girls Club Wellington for a community chili cook-off. Cooks both young and old will have an opportunity to compete for a spot at the ICS World Championship Chili Cook-off!

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Boys and Girls Club-Wellington and Wellington Firefighters Fund.

The Wellington Winter Wonderland Chili Cook-off will be on Saturday, December 7, from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. (public tasting hours are 12:30 – 5 p.m.).

CO GIVES DAYColorado’s largest day of giving, Colorado Gives Day, is taking place on Tuesday, December 10, 2019. On this day, thousands of people come together to support Colorado nonprofits.

Support Boys & Girls Clubs of Larimer County this Colorado Gives Day! BGCLC is the only comprehensive, facility-based, after-school and summer program in Larimer County that includes meals, positive youth development programming, and mentoring for only $20 per year, per child.

Your business can help support the BGCLC’s mission of enabling all young people, especially those who need it the most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.

Here are 3 possible ways to support:
1. Percentage of sales on Colorado Gives Day goes to BGCLC

2019 BUSINESS LIGHTING CONTEST ENTRY FORMLet’s light up the night and shine as a community!!

The Chamber of Commerce and Main Streets Program will be hosting a storefront holiday decoration contest. We encourage all businesses to participate and help us make our downtown festive fro the holiday season!

Fill out this Entry Form and send it back to us by WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 18th by 5:00 pm. Final Judging will be made by 5:00 pm THURSDAY, DECEMBER 19th and winners will be contacted by DECEMBER 30th.

To ensure that deliveries are made in time for Thanksgiving the food drive will run through Monday, October 14th to Friday, November 8th

Poudre Valley REA will pick up food items from each participating station on Monday, November 11th.

Food items will be delivered to the Wellington Food Bank Monday, November 11th – Wednesday, November 13th
