Knaack Of It Automotive - 3703 Cleveland Avenue, 80549 Wellington, CO US

“Essential Things Every Woman Should Know About Her Car.”
Hosted By: Linda & Sara Knaack

We look forward to networking with everyone!!
Knaack Of It Automotive: 3703 Cleveland Avenue, Wellington

Linda Knaack married into the automotive world 23 years ago and her daughter Sara was born into it 21 years ago. The pair have spent countless hours in the garage working alongside John (husband and father), an ASE L1 Advanced Level Specialist and Master Certified Technician, to repair and maintain their personal fleet of vehicles. In mid-October 2017 the family was presented with the opportunity to open their own automotive repair facility in their hometown of Wellington, CO, and leaped at the chance. Approximately two weeks later on November 1st, 2017 the doors were opened, and business was up and running. Linda and Sara immediately took on the role of service advisors and climbed the steep learning curve of estimating and part sourcing for nearly every type of vehicle on the road.

As the mother and daughter duo delved deeper into their business an awareness arose that many people are leery to go into an automotive repair facility and are more so to ask questions. We understand that vehicles are personal and are ultimately a means of freedom and livelihood for many.

Our mission is to help our customers understand their vehicles better and to break down the barriers that exist for women in male-dominated fields. In a desire to help our local community and loyal customers, we seek to educate and advise what to look for when you go to a mechanic, tire shop, and/or oil change facility. We also want to share what questions people should ask and how to watch out for the Service Advisor Bully.

WOWOCT212020 FLYER“How to Build a Vibrant, Interactive Customer Community”
Guest Speaker: Kelly DeVries
Owner, Thistle Ltd: Boutique Gift Shopping

I have a BFA in fine arts with an emphasis in Graphic Design from Montana State University. I worked in a large advertising agency in Chicago and small agencies in Colorado as a graphic designer and art director for 17 years.

During my kid’s younger years, I started a soap company where I sold handcrafted soap wholesale to boutiques and large companies including Urban Outfitters, and I Heart Denver among many others. In 2017, I decided to take the plunge and start Thistle which I envisioned as a resource for local artists to feature their unique items and where the community
could enjoy items that aren’t mass-made. I’m still the only employee of Thistle as I build the business into my full vision and as a northern Colorado staple. I have an awesome customer base of dedicated patrons and I’m excited to share some ways to build a loyal fan base for your business as well.
