Tara and Brandon Neckel

Tara and Brandon Neckel

Business Of The Year - Old Colorado Brewing Company

We would like to congratulate Tara and Brandon Neckel at Old Colorado Brewing Company as the Chamber’s choice for Business of the Year. They came to Wellington just two years ago and remodeled an old grain elevator into Wellington’s 1st Craft Brewery.

They support the Town by always hosting fundraising events, fun family activities, and nonprofit group meetings. They have donated a percentage of sales to the summer concerts and the Chamber 2 Rounds Disc Golf Tournaments. If you haven’t been to Old Colorado Brewing Company, be sure and visit this friendly, nostalgic, historic brewery and get to know Tara and Brandon.

Heidi Cross

Heidi Cross

Member Of The Year - Heidi Cross Re/Max Alliance

Congratulations to Heidi Cross with Re/Max Alliance as the Chamber’s Choice for Member of the Year. She graciously promoted the Chamber to potential members long before we actually had an office and now is the Vice-Chair of the Membership Committee.

Heidi is an active Chamber Board of Director and rarely misses a Business After Hours event, Networking & Educational Breakfast or Women of Wellington event and volunteers on the Annual Dinner Committee. She’s the first to volunteer and gives of her time and talent generously.

Linda Kinzli

Linda Kinzli

Chairman’s Award - Linda Kinzli

Linda Kinzli is a true backbone of our community. In fact, it seems that very little happens in this town to support or engage its citizens, that Linda isn’t either at the forefront of or is helping with in some way. She is a founding member of the Wellington Area Chamber Of Commerce and a current Board of Director. She coordinates the monthly Business After Hours events and is a long-time member of the Chamber’s Membership Committee and Annual Dinner Committee. In addition, she is one of the initial helpers that created the
Women Of Wellington group and is helping keep it vibrant and strong.

She is a 15-year breast cancer survivor and has been the captain of the Relay For Life team here in Wellington for the past 8 years, spearheading countless fundraisers to raise funds for Relay For Life. She volunteers on the Wellington Colorado Main Streets Program’s Design Committee, the Christmas Decoration Committee, and the Summer Concert Series.

She has served on the Community Activities Committee for well over a decade and has been instrumental in coordinating, volunteering at, and orchestrating events like the 4th of July celebration, Christmas parade, the Easter Egg Hunt and the Veteran’s Day Celebration. She was an initiator of the Chamber’s Trick-or-Treat Down Main Street & Beyond, which started over 15 years ago.

In addition to everything she does for our community, she also is the Office Manager of the Kinzli Team at Re/Max Alliance, has 5 daughters, 7 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
